Connecting SiteGround Email to Menvin
Find your SiteGround email IMAP/SMTP settings and connect your hosting email account to Menvin.
Log in to your SiteGround account to find your email settings:
- Go to SiteGround and sign in to your account
- Navigate to Websites → Select your website
- Go to Email Accounts or Email section
- Find your email address in the list
SiteGround provides email settings in your account. Here's where to find them:
- In the Email Accounts section, click on your email address or the Settings / Configure button
- Look for "Mail Client Configuration" or "Email Client Settings"
- You should see IMAP and SMTP settings listed
- Note down the following information:
- IMAP server address
- IMAP port (usually 993)
- SMTP server address
- SMTP port (usually 465 or 587)

- Go to Menvin Connect page
- Select "Custom / Other" from the provider dropdown
- Enter your SiteGround email settings:
- IMAP Host: Usually

993(with TLS enabled) - SMTP Host: Usually
mail.yourdomain.comorsmtp.yourdomain.com - SMTP Port:
465(SSL) or587(TLS)
- IMAP Host: Usually
- Enable "Use TLS" for both IMAP and SMTP
- Enter your full email address as the username
- Enter your email account password (the one you set in SiteGround)
- Give your mailbox a friendly name (e.g., "SiteGround Business")
- Click "Test connection & save mailbox"
❌ "Connection timeout" or "Cannot reach server"
Solution: Double-check the server address. It's usually mail.yourdomain.comwhere yourdomain.com is your actual domain. Make sure you're using the correct domain.
❌ "Authentication failed"
Solution: Verify your email password in SiteGround. Make sure you're using the password for the email account, not your SiteGround hosting account password. You can reset the email password in SiteGround if needed.
❌ Can't find email settings in SiteGround
Solution: SiteGround's interface may vary. Try:
- Looking in Site Tools → Email
- Checking cPanel (if available) → Email Accounts
- Contacting SiteGround support for your specific server settings
❌ Port 993 or 587 not working
Solution: Some SiteGround servers use different ports. Try:
- IMAP: Port
143with TLS, or993with SSL - SMTP: Port
465with SSL, or587with TLS - Toggle the "Use TLS" option if one doesn't work
