Connecting GoDaddy Email to Menvin
Connect your GoDaddy email account. GoDaddy offers two email services - we'll cover both.
Which GoDaddy Email Service?
GoDaddy offers two email services:
- GoDaddy Workspace Email (formerly Office 365) - Uses Microsoft servers
- cPanel Email (hosting email) - Uses GoDaddy's own servers
Option A: GoDaddy Workspace Email (Microsoft-based)
If you have GoDaddy Workspace Email (formerly Office 365)
GoDaddy Workspace Email uses Microsoft servers, so the settings are similar to Outlook:
- Go to Menvin Connect page
- Select "Outlook / Hotmail" from the provider dropdown (works for GoDaddy Workspace too)
- Settings will auto-fill:
- IMAP Host:
outlook.office365.com - SMTP Host:
smtp.office365.com
- IMAP Host:
- Enter your full GoDaddy email address as the username
- Enter your email password (or app password if 2FA is enabled)
- Test and save
Note: If you have two-factor authentication enabled, you may need to create an app password in your Microsoft account security settings.
Option B: cPanel Email (Hosting Email)
If you have email through GoDaddy hosting/cPanel
Step 1: Access cPanel
- Log in to your GoDaddy account
- Go to My Products → Select your hosting
- Click "cPanel Admin" or "Manage"
- Log in to cPanel
Step 2: Find Email Settings
- In cPanel, go to "Email Accounts" section
- Find your email address and click "Connect Devices" or "Configure Mail Client"
- Look for "Manual Settings" or "IMAP/SMTP Settings"
- Note the server addresses and ports
Step 3: Connect in Menvin

- Select "Custom / Other" from the provider dropdown

- IMAP Host: Usually
mail.yourdomain.comorimap.secureserver.net - IMAP Port:
993(with TLS) - SMTP Host: Usually
mail.yourdomain.comorsmtpout.secureserver.net - SMTP Port:
465(SSL) or587(TLS)
- IMAP Host: Usually
- Enable "Use TLS" for both IMAP and SMTP
- Enter your full email address as the username

Common Issues & Solutions
❌ "Cannot find email settings in cPanel"
Solution: Look for "Email Accounts" in cPanel, then click on your email address. You should see options like "Connect Devices" or "Configure Mail Client" that show the IMAP/SMTP settings.
❌ "Connection timeout" with cPanel email
Solution: Try these server addresses:
mail.yourdomain.comimap.secureserver.net(IMAP)smtpout.secureserver.net(SMTP)
❌ "Authentication failed"
Solution: Make sure you're using the email account password, not your GoDaddy account password. You can reset the email password in cPanel → Email Accounts.
❌ Not sure which email service you have
Solution: Check your GoDaddy account:
- If you see "Workspace Email" or "Microsoft 365" → Use Option A (Outlook settings)
- If you see "cPanel" or "Email Accounts" in hosting → Use Option B (cPanel settings)
- Contact GoDaddy support if you're unsure
